The Magic of Personal Development launched with great success, with the first edition taking place outside of Craiova, at Terpezita Middle School. We met with students from 5th to 8th grade to discuss the importance of reading and personal development.

We were greatly supported by the collaboration with the principal of Terpezita Middle School, as well as the openness of the teachers who welcomed us and helped ensure the smooth running of the event.

The Magic of Personal Development was opened by Ramona Maria Buzatu, representing the Autonom Foundation. She spoke about the importance of self-awareness, motivation, reading, and community involvement, encouraging education and the personal growth of young people.

The “Dream Creator,” none other than entrepreneur Razvan Jianu, introduced the students to the secrets of entrepreneurship, providing concrete examples for them to learn from. He talked about the importance of developing yourself and pursuing what you want in life when you find your passion. Whether it’s cooking, dancing, sports, or entrepreneurship, the common thread is that you have to work hard! Develop yourself both cognitively and emotionally!

Mario Popescu Magic, our magnificent magician, shared with the participants how he turned his hobby of drawing into a business, selling artistic paintings. He explained how magic helped him not only to express himself but also to earn money. He was an artist who brought smiles to everyone’s faces!

The students shared, timidly but passionately, about the books they had recently read. They had interesting insights about mentors and people who inspire them and help them grow. We had fun, learned, and experienced new things together. At the end, we gave books to those who participated actively or impressed us.

We love organizing events like these that can support the next generation. Beyond giving them opportunities for personal growth and encouraging reading, we provide entertainment that not everyone has access to. And if, through our efforts, we can positively influence even one child’s life, then, as the poet says, we haven’t lived in vain!
